So there I am, in a room full of about 70-odd PR peers at the excellent FullRun 'Talking Shop' event this evening at Edelman's rather swanky offices, with the great and the good from The Times' business, technology and telecoms sections up 'on stage' sharing their experience.
The session got thrown open to questions from the floor. I put my hand up...
"Hi, yes, Will Sturgeon, silicon.com..."
It's been a year. Yet it was the first time I'd been in that 'press conference' setting since switching sides. Clearly there is something still hard-wired in my brain - a dormant auto-pilot - that just kicked in on instinct. I know I work for LEWIS. Really.
Still, at least it got a laugh... Even if it may have been 'at' rather than 'with'.

Proof: You can take the man out of journalism but you can't take journalism out of the man!
Don't worry Will, I don't think anybody noticed. All those people laughing had just remembered something funny that happened earlier in the day. To all of them.
Thank you for your kind words.
Should've just fixed them all with the mesmo-stare...
That sounds like quite the superpower. If only, kind stranger...
